Data I/O 29B

I've got a Data I/O with a Unipak. The unit seems to function correctly, but I seem to have a problem loading prom files for tempest. I'm able to load files for say 2516, or 2532. It's bit slow, but it loads (in about 30 secs) and I'm able to burn them. But when I try to load any prom file the program states that it's waiting for programmer response (normal for even the 2516 etc. ) But it either never get's a response, or the file is so small that it loaded to quickly and the program missed the response? I've let it sit for 10 mins waiting and nothing. It would be nice to be able to load a file, instead of having to copy from a master prom. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas that I could try would be apperciated. need docs for AMD LabPro (Digelec) Programmer -

A recent hamfest yielded a beautiful AMD LabPro Digelec PLD programmer, along with PALASM software and several pounds of programmable devices. The only thing lacking are docs for operating the programmer. It's reasonably self explanatory in local mode but I'd like to figure out how to connect with a PC to allow file transfers to and from the device. Anybody have the docs? 9100 ROM Signature Algorithm

Hi all, I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no, but did anyone ever work this one out? Ie how to calculate the sigs from ROMs? It's never really been a show stopper for me since I check against the CRC32 sigs first thanks to a script that Andy Welburn posted up some years back (with assistance from Chris Hardy I believe?) and then when I know a ROM matches and the fluke can read it in-circuit ok I then use the 9100 to get the 9100 sig. It's a bit of a drag though as the CRC32 calculation is kinda slow (even on the FT) so it would be nice to have the 9100 sig up front. Wico Pattern Generator - modifications

Not sure how many here use the old WICO pattern generators but I have modified mine so it has both +/- Hor & Vert. sync and +/- composite sync as well as pushed it up to EGA speed with a second crystal. As a result I can test most of the B&W and colour game monitors with this - up to VGA. 6502 NOP, or Clock divider

I'm looking for some schematics to build a 6502 NOP that will produce catbox sigs when used with the HP5004a. I think someone mentioned they built one with 2 ls393's I assume that would be the easiest way, instead of building a clock divider to use for my clock signal. If someone could point me in the right direction..
