I chatted with the seller and he confirms that it does NOT power up. So chances are the battery backed up system ROM has failed. Item 390623172259 He reduced the price on his own from the original asking $59.95 to $19.95. Pity. I was hoping to find a good one to extract the program from to save mine... If someone here buys it and CAN extract the ROM data I'd sure like a copy! Looking at the manual for the Z80QT pod and the schematic I think I am getting an expected result. I hooked up the pod and hit BUS to run the bus test. I immediately get back CTL ERR showing 00000010 this is the HALT line. Looking at the schematic it appears HALT and INT are both tied together and pulled high. So the fluke can't exercise that line. Any way to ignore that error and verify the rest of the bus test? Oh and according the manual maximum clock frequency is 8.0 mhz. Does that mean this pod support Z80A/B/C ? Fluke 9000A mystery adapter (for me at least ;-)

I have a pod module here called "Z8 I/F ADAPTER" Fluke #9000-200/AB. It has no cable to the base, just a 40 pin CPU cable. Inside is a couple of RAM chips, and some Fluke hybrid interface ICs. Any guesses? John :-#)#

Success... Fluke FIDE on a 64 Bit OS...

FINALLY - something many of us have been thinking about for many years has come to pass. A Fluke owner in Italy has designed a nice little PCB for the 9010 that will give USB and RS-232 I/O communication capabilities! http://www.ukvac.com/forum/fs-fluke-9010a-option-1_topic339624.html His name is Piero Andreini and I suspect he is going to get a few emails on this. 9100FT

long shot.. But has anyone seen, or knows of a service disk suitable for the 9100FT ? I'm updating my 9100 page soon as i've been working on 5 of these systems, but while i can set the 9100FT to acknowledge 16mb ram in post, the system always reports just 4mb.. I can actually get it to test 32mb (when installed 8x4mb) but the post always fails, and the dip switch combination is not even valid as per what is screened on the pcb. 9020A via IEEE-488?

I recently acquired a 9020A with a IEEE-488 interface and wondering if anyone has documents for using this configuration. I found the 9010A vs 9020A differences document from Fluke, but I'm not sure what software was used to control the 9020A via the 488 bus. Changing mains voltage for power supply PSU on the Fluke 9020A

In the interest of saving someone else a little time, if you need to change the line-voltage on the Fluke 9020A micro-tester then refer to the following pictures: http://imgur.com/a/Im6bF#0 In the final picture are two slide switches in the lower middle, on the PCB there is an indication of the voltage options and you can adjust the switches, for 240V I swapped them from how they appear in the picture (which was how they were set for 110V). Using the 9010 to fill a block of RAM

I'm hoping one of you code jockeys knows a simple program for filling a block of memory on the 9010 - in this case with FFs. I'm looking for something like: *Begin at address xxxxh write FFh, ** ** **Increment counter by 1 store, ** ** **Compare counter with yyyyh - if equal goto Finish** ** **Loop back to Begin** ** **Finish* I think I just about wrote the program, but it would take me up to a couple of hours to get it to work (I'm a heck of a lot better on hardware). Why do I want this? Well, I am finding that the AnyPin device we sell is loaded with 00s, and the early Williams games don't seem to like that, so I want to load them with FFs and see if that works better. A 5101 is only 4 bits wide, so I made a simple adapter that puts a second 5101 in parallel (address and selects) with the original and the four additional data lines (D4 - D7) go to a Glomper clip that fits over a handy ROM to get those connections. Now I can test the 5101 in the game using the standard built in RAM tests. Thanks!
