Fluke 9000A mystery adapter (for me at least ;-)

I have a pod module here called "Z8 I/F ADAPTER" Fluke #9000-200/AB. It has no cable to the base, just a 40 pin CPU cable. Inside is a couple of RAM chips, and some Fluke hybrid interface ICs. Any guesses? John :-#)#

Hey, that would be my cue :) All of the M72, M82, M84 games from Irem use a NEC V20 which is a 8086 with some extra instructions. It's also pin compatible so the 8086 pod is usable with it. Does anyone know if the scripts for the 9010 work on a 9100a?? It may also be of interest to know that someone (presumably Al Kossow) has scanned and pdf'ed a lot of the fluke manuals and uploaded them to www.spies.com/arcade. There's a fluke directory which has some 9010 scripts and the .exe to compile them, and in the TE directory there are manuals for the 9010,9100 and most of the POD's. (I presume Al wrote the scripts) Unfortunately, the user manual for the 9100 isn't there. Sigh... Hi All, As the subject says this is a request for comments. The ICE MKII project is still progressing all be it slowly due to problems getting the CPLD for the signature analysis and frequency counter to work, they simulate fine but don't seem to work in the 'real world' so I'm having to build them in discrete logic to actually test the design works. The USB comms work beautifully thanks to the simplicity of the FDTI interface chip . So while I am waiting for renewed enthusiasm to strike I've started writing the Windows IDE for it. I've put a few screenshots up of the user interface and would appreciate some constructive criticism. The interface isn't set in stone as yet but I'd prefer not to make drastic functionality changes, but I am already considering some layout changes and some small functional improvements. Also if anyone is handy at creating Icons then some help would be appreciated, see 'a plea of sorts' on the main page for an explaination. While the hardware does pass back the the failing bits/location currently it would be up to the operator to decide which ram it was if we were talking pairs of 2114's or the like. Within a script you could report back the failure of a particular IC fairly easily but as you point out not so in the standalone mode. >should the memory map / IO etc not be a tree from the CPU Excellent point no 2. I did notice this failing when I created the project for the screenshots and was in 2 minds about how to resolve it, my own fault for using boards with single cpus while developing and getting tunnel vision. Option 1 was to totally cop out and leave it as-is for the operator to maybe create multiple project files 1 for the main board and others for sub boards, not really an ideal situation. Option 2 do something else but wasn't sure what. Now you've given me a solution :o) As for USB chips I don't have stock of them as yet I bought an off the shelf module from the manufacturers distributor to minimise the development phase of the comms side of things. It has all the components and connector on a 32pin dip module but at £25 a pop I won't be using them on the finished design.
