I chatted with the seller and he confirms that it does NOT power up. So chances are the battery backed up system ROM has failed. Item 390623172259 He reduced the price on his own from the original asking $59.95 to $19.95. Pity. I was hoping to find a good one to extract the program from to save mine... If someone here buys it and CAN extract the ROM data I'd sure like a copy! Looking at the manual for the Z80QT pod and the schematic I think I am getting an expected result. I hooked up the pod and hit BUS to run the bus test. I immediately get back CTL ERR showing 00000010 this is the HALT line. Looking at the schematic it appears HALT and INT are both tied together and pulled high. So the fluke can't exercise that line. Any way to ignore that error and verify the rest of the bus test? Oh and according the manual maximum clock frequency is 8.0 mhz. Does that mean this pod support Z80A/B/C ? Fluke 9000A mystery adapter (for me at least ;-)

I have a pod module here called "Z8 I/F ADAPTER" Fluke #9000-200/AB. It has no cable to the base, just a 40 pin CPU cable. Inside is a couple of RAM chips, and some Fluke hybrid interface ICs. Any guesses? John :-#)#

Success... Fluke FIDE on a 64 Bit OS...

FINALLY - something many of us have been thinking about for many years has come to pass. long shot.. But has anyone seen, or knows of a service disk suitable for the 9100FT ? I'm updating my 9100 page soon as i've been working on 5 of these systems, but while i can set the 9100FT to acknowledge 16mb ram in post, the system always reports just 4mb.. I can actually get it to test 32mb (when installed 8x4mb) but the post always fails, and the dip switch combination is not even valid as per what is screened on the pcb. I have a Fluke 9100A that I haven't used in a while, so if there's interest, contact me. Fluke Script with Centipede

Playing around with my Fluke and 6502 pod today, and can't get the centipede revision 2 or 3 script to work. Wondering if it is on my end or not. I was able to transfer the Pokey script that was built in the FIDE, and was able to execute it. I then go to http://www.quarterarcade.com/Tech/CodeGenerator/Default.aspx?g=503&set=cent… and copy and paste the code into the FIDE and try to transfer it over to the Fluke and get the following error: Quote: Starting process... 9010A Language Compiler - Version 1.2 Copyright(c) 1983 John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc. line 282: program centiped208 >>Duplicate program Processing completed. SYSTEM ERROR: 380: Invalid property value I get a similar error when I try Revision 3 (except it says line 283). Any advise if it's a user error or something else?
