I do have some 9010A signatures that I've posted to the newslist before & had 2 other members respond & send in a few more, with such paultry response I didn't pursue posting them. 9100 responses probably will be even lower in relationship to the number of these. Most of the 9100 manuals that I know of are posted on the ftp site (if you have any not posted please let us know). 9100 software is the next focus, still trying to find a working copy of the 9100 Autolearn program and cross compiler. Text files would be better (or html). One question that I posted a few weeks ago is what method do 9100 owners use to collect signatures? Fluke 9100 repository?

hi all.. Kev has raised a good point about the lack of 9100 orientated info around.. plenty of 9010, but as any good 9100 owner would know, the rom signatures do differ.. I have a stack of sigs taken from a whole host of pcbs, all on some rather battle-worn notepads that i do need to type up and put in a printable/readable format... I seem to remember John saying somethign about a fluke resource on his site, but the exact details escape me this minute.. i need reminding.. where are they, how can i add to them, and would there be a html version instead of just a directory style listing? just an idea... Andy

9010A Service Manual

I just found that one of my service manuals is dated October, 1989, and it is for units with Serial Numbers 4876000 and higher. Does anyone want a copy of it? There is not a lot of changes, but if your unit is the later date it might matter if you are trying to fix it. If someone wants to scan it in, they need a ledger sized scanner for the foldouts...someday I'll find a ledger scanner with ADF... I also found an Change/Errata Information pamphlet dated 6/84 (Issue #2) - this I plan to scan in this weekend. Compressing/Page Capturing PDFs

Anyone here play with Adobe 5.0? Does it do a better job of capturing pages than 4.0? The reason I ask is I was looking at the amount of storage used, so far, on the FTP site, and had recently received a rather small PDF that was scanned manual for the Arium ML4100 (it's up there) that was only 260K in size, whereas my scans were coming in the multimeg size.... So I played with a recent file that Kev put up today - the 80188PODGS manual, and Kev's version was 1.2megs, whereas the Captured manual was only 56K. Slight space advantage... John :-#)#

The Async manual is not complete as posted (my upload was terminated for some reason?). I'll upload it again tomorrow along with the Async Service Manual (These are both for the 9010A not the 9100). I've got several more documents to scan, most of them for the 9100 series & will get them up as soon as I can. Thanks, Kev
