Fluke 9000A mystery adapter (for me at least ;-)

I have a pod module here called "Z8 I/F ADAPTER" Fluke #9000-200/AB. It has no cable to the base, just a 40 pin CPU cable. Inside is a couple of RAM chips, and some Fluke hybrid interface ICs. Any guesses? John :-#)#

Unipak 2B adaptor query

I have a Data I/O 29B EPROM programmer with a Unipak 2B and need to get hold of an adaptor for it, specifically adaptor no: 351B068 Does anyone either have one of these or know what it consists of please? Does it perhaps just re-route a few pins, or is there more to it than that? Hey, that would be my cue :) All of the M72, M82, M84 games from Irem use a NEC V20 which is a 8086 with some extra instructions. It's also pin compatible so the 8086 pod is usable with it. Does anyone know if the scripts for the 9010 work on a 9100a?? It may also be of interest to know that someone (presumably Al Kossow) has scanned and pdf'ed a lot of the fluke manuals and uploaded them to www.spies.com/arcade. There's a fluke directory which has some 9010 scripts and the .exe to compile them, and in the TE directory there are manuals for the 9010,9100 and most of the POD's. (I presume Al wrote the scripts) Unfortunately, the user manual for the 9100 isn't there. Sigh... Don't suppose there's any known formulae or program to convert HP / Catbox sigs to Fluke sigs and vice versa is there? Not a big deal but i have some fluke sigs that would be easier to convert than resample... Poss. dumb 9010 query

Sorry, but i do get rather confused with this thing from time to time :o) I'm getting a "R/W Error @ F800 BTS 08" when trying to test the ram on one of these MCR boards. Am i right in saying that i need to be tracking down a problem on the data bus, bit 4, bit 3 if you prefer your numbers to be 0 based (1000 = 8, therefore, that's bit 0, 1, 2, then 3 or 1, 2, 3, then 4). And if it were a decode error then that would be the address bus? I'm assuming all is well with chip selects and r/w signals since it's only complaining about bit 08 and not FF? As an aside, i burnt a set of home burnt roms but the 9010 still can't read the things reliably in the MCR sets. It doesn't seem to like anything that's in close relation to the CTC i don't think. It's happy enough troubleshooting the video staging ram and the background ram, just not the program ram or rom :( I'm using a normal Z80 pod with a Z80A processor in it. I'm guessing from reading previous posts that there would be no benefit in trying to blag or borrow a Z80AA since someone else was saying that couldn't cope with MCR hardware either.
