Does anyone know if the scripts for the 9010 work on a 9100a?? It may also be of interest to know that someone (presumably Al Kossow) has scanned and pdf'ed a lot of the fluke manuals and uploaded them to www.spies.com/arcade. There's a fluke directory which has some 9010 scripts and the .exe to compile them, and in the TE directory there are manuals for the 9010,9100 and most of the POD's. (I presume Al wrote the scripts) Unfortunately, the user manual for the 9100 isn't there. Sigh... Chris (I would like a copy of the scipt also :) ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: RE: Fluke T-shooters Author: John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> at Internet Date: 1/11/00 8:40 AM I found the Asteroids script, had downloaded it a while ago and it was lurking in the wrong area. Anyone have a pdf of these multimeter manuals? I am curious about the Conduction feature... I have a 8000 manual I am thinking of PDFing if it isn't already... Sonce asking this question I have received the manual for the 8010/8020a meter - this includes the theory of the Conductance test which enables this meter (and the hand held versions) replace a "megger" for checking insulation breakdown for safety checks on equipment. I'll be scanning it in next week and shortly expect to have the new, larger Flippers web site set up so I can put these all back up. In the meantime if anyone wants some of the PDFs just email me and I'll try to send them back. John :-#)# At 6:03 PM -0700 4/13/04, John Robertson wrote:

Cool, hadn't thought to look at Fluke. Perhaps this will discourage the folks selling the CD's of manuals on Ebay? John :-#)# At 2:11 PM -0500 8/13/04, Tom McClintock wrote:

BTW, if you are searching for that model number you won't find it on the site for some reason. I just chose "Discontinued Products" and selected "go" which brought me back all the products - including the 8020A Instruction Manual and Supplement Instruction Manual. I *thought* the link I sent would bring you to the complete list of products. Guess it doesn't! Hope everyone doesn't spend toooo much time downloading all the manuals this weekend ;) tm John Robertson wrote:

http://www.arcades.org.uk/s2650_fluke_adapter.htm Based on the article in the Fluke magazines that were on the fluke pdf archive, I made up a PCB for the Z80 -> S2650 adapter. I've used it (in anger) on a Zaccaria 'The Invaders' PCB where it correctly identified a memory mapping fault, and a couple of ram errors on the video ram. not comprehensively tested, but basic functions definitely work as expected. (Run UUT will not work no matter what!) Any interest in these, as if there are people after them I'll get some PCB's made up. (only planning on doing the PCB's, you need to populate them) - price is likely to be around £10 per PCB, unless there is a real mega demand in which case the price may fall. I can confirm prices once I know if there is a demand for these, and hence get the costs to me sorted out. (I'm not planning to make much on these, £10 should cover what I pay to get PCB's made and postage to you good folks) If you ever want to (un)subscribe yourself with TTL, you can send mail to: <Majordomo@flippers.com> with the following command in the body of your email message: (un)subscribe techtoolslist or from another email account, besides xxx@yyy.com: (un)subscribe techtoolslist xxx@yyy.com
Test of Tech Tools List mail - please do NOT reply, unless you are bored... If you get this then the list is running again and you can post! Thanks for your patience! Bored? not really, but I'm looking for WORKING 6502 and 6809 PODs. Anyone got any for sale? Also ... where did you find that NOS Robotron table ... I was Jealous and broke ... or it would be mine :o( Dave Langley www.robotron-2084.co.uk _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com http://seven.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist
For a working 6502 pod, find a 6800 and pop in a 6502 CPU, and a couple of changes on the pod PCB. Check the schematics (soon to be back up!) in the PDF for the 6502 pod. The same Eprom code is used in each, the lower half is 6800 and the upper half is 6502! I figure it would be fairly simple to hack a pod so it would do both CPUs...I see a hole with a 40 pin ZIF socket, and a toggle switch.... John :-#)# At 8:32 PM +0000 11/8/04, Dave Langley wrote:

Any "new/uncirculated" documentation for these units show up lately? I think we are still missing the 8051 pod manual & a few Troubleshooter newsletters. Praise be to John for (preparing to) release the 6800 pod hack info. Thanks, Kev mowerman@erols.com _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com http://seven.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist
Um, I haven't done the hack, rather I see in the 6502 manual the jumpers for the 6800 version of the 6502 pod....so I thought someone else could play with that - I have no time right now, perhaps in a few months... Some day I'll retire and then I can play with this stuff all day. As for documentation I have a couple of new Fluke manuals that I've had scanned by students that I shall post once I get around to setting up the FTP site again...I just hope folks won't suck it up too much or I might have to pull it. Like Spies did. Perhaps I can set download limits - if so, then I'll set the FTP site up much sooner. Most of the TTL directory is on the DVD set that is floating around - more practical than downloading for hours, and more host (pair.com) friendly. John :-#)# At 9:11 PM -0500 11/8/04, kklopp wrote:
