Fluke 9010A Frequency Counter

Who has tried the F9010 compiler? I'm trying to write a real simple program to read the frequency counter & display it. I've tried both REG0 & REG1 with similar results.... the fluke shows executing but no display & then finally crashes. Any suggestions? What type of software do you guys use when interfacing the 9010A to a computer via a 232 port? Is there any software that will run on an old 386 computer? Changing web hosts...

I am in the process of changing to a new web host and Techtools may be down for a few days. I'll let you know when it is up, and if there is a "Test" message if I could get Kev only (don't want dozens, thanks for being volunteered Kev!) to reply that would be great. Hope this is all straightened out by Tuesday at the latest. For those that are curious of the process, Currently Flippers.com is at http://216.146.11.117 (my Jumpline.net host) and if you are to plug that into your browser you would arrive there, the same as typing in www.flippers.com, now the new host is in Canada and the new site address will be http://64.114.46.198/. now if you put that in you will again appear to be at Flippers.com, however if you open a DOS window and type "PING WWW.FLIPPERS.COM" you will see the 216... as the site location UNTILL the switchover (in the next day or two) when the site number will change to 64... It is AFTER the switchover that I expect problems...at least for a day or so... I could find no way to fix it (yes, I did try all of the invert options, fiddling with the printer etc. etc.) except using a different computer with an earlier version of Acrobat (I used 3 instead of 4). Anyone want a 6809 pod?

I think I finally found some 6809 pods for the Fluke 9010A / 9100 series. Problem is the prices...... I've been quoted $550 to $1100 The best deal I've found now is $500 for NIB units. There are apparently multiple units available. Anyone interested? Hopefully I know more this coming week (exactly how many are available).
