I was trying to print the 9010 manuals in PDF on spies and found that they are printing black background and white text (negative image). I have not found how to switch them around. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem when printing out the CATBox .pdf. I could find no way to fix it (yes, I did try all of the invert options, fiddling with the printer etc. etc.) except using a different computer with an earlier version of Acrobat (I used 3 instead of 4).
