Hey, that would be my cue :) All of the M72, M82, M84 games from Irem use a NEC V20 which is a 8086 with some extra instructions. It's also pin compatible so the 8086 pod is usable with it. Does anyone know if the scripts for the 9010 work on a 9100a?? It may also be of interest to know that someone (presumably Al Kossow) has scanned and pdf'ed a lot of the fluke manuals and uploaded them to www.spies.com/arcade. There's a fluke directory which has some 9010 scripts and the .exe to compile them, and in the TE directory there are manuals for the 9010,9100 and most of the POD's. (I presume Al wrote the scripts) Unfortunately, the user manual for the 9100 isn't there. Sigh... fluke 9010a help required please

I have been writing some script files for my fluke 9010a in order to trouble shoot some 'Universal boardsets that I have (eg:- cosmic monsters etc.) The problem is I only have One Tape. so i decided to download the scripts to my pentium III portable. No Problem downloaded perfectly :-)) trouble is when i try to upload them back to the fluke always at line 7 fluke sends an error message (Scriptfile about 110 lines long) and aborts sadly the message it gives is the abiguous message AUX-Receiving-ERROR discribed as 'Miscellanious Transmission Problems'???? Can anyone sugest anything I might try. I am sending to the pc with BAUD 9600 , PARITY=NONE , BITS=1 and Xon Xoff protocol as I say no problem sending to the pc. When Scriptfile and Signature Analysis is complete will post it for the use of the list members. Fluke 90 Tester, Anyone?

Seems descent for the money ($61), just curious if anyone has actually owned one. On another note, I bought a 6809 pod for my 9010 from a place in Canade for $15, minus the cable that goes from the pod to the UUT. I called Fluke yesterday and they actually had the part in stock! Amazing.... Guess if you need parts for your 9000 series, you might give the parts line a call... 800-44-fluke and give them the Fluke part #. I vaguely remember from poking around the inside of a 6502 (or from the manual) that a 6800 can be converted to a 6502. Does anybody know for sure?? Fluke 9010A upgrade needed - Z80 gurus around?

Help! I, and many other folks cursing the 9010A, would REALLY like the code modified to give CHECKSUMS instead of the weird FLUKE "signature". As the base unit uses a Z80 I was hoping some genius out there would be interested in rectifying this serious oversight of Flukes'...any takers? Reward! John :-#)#

I'm willing to bet that the Fluke needs to have hardware handshaking that your PIII is not providing, and you are overflowing the Fluke's buffer. I've had that problem with my Data I/O EPROM programmer. I wasn't able to get Win 95 (which I was running at the time) to do the handshaking I needed. This is all conjecture, since I never put a sniffer inline with my COM ports to really see what was going on. My solution was to get a $20 80386 and run DOS.
