FTP site and login?

I apologize in advance, but I just can't find the info. What is the FTP site name and login and password to use? I tried both: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment and ftp://ftp.flippers.com I thought it was an anonymous log in, but my FTP software is reporting the site is asking for login info. Free: Telequipment (Tektronix) D32 10MHz Oscilloscope

I have an old non-working Telequipment (Tektronix) D32 10MHz oscilloscope that someone gave to me years ago that I've never had a chance to repair. This unit had the ability to run off of 6 D sized NiCd's or line power. Unfortunately, the NiCd's leaked at some point before I got the unit and there is corrosion on one corner of one of the trigger/sweep generator circuit board. The unit powers up but there is nothing on the display. I am just never going to get around to fixing this so I wanted to offer it up to someone who has the time to resurrect it. It's missing a trim piece on one side and the brackets that hold the NiCd's but is otherwise complete. I also have the original manual that I'll include with the unit. If you want this, send me an email and I'll send it to you for just the cost of shipping. Thanks John - Was a mixture of two issues; I wondered about using the LS's as well - didn't key in that the C's were CMOS right away but had some HC245's on order by the time you replied. It also appears that some of the "tested good" 74C245's were marginal. After replacing all of them with the 74HC245's, it's working great! Otherwise, had a link to the FTP site - but had to back up a few directories to find the ROM files, so I'm good there as well. Data I/O 29B Firmware Upgrade

I just picked up a 29B with a ton of extra modules. The 29B shows v01 so I would like to upgrade the firmware as far as possible. It looks like the FTP site has v6 available but i am not sure of the requirements. I have ROMs only at u33-u37 and v6 has u32-u38 so there are additional ROMs used and I also assume that u49 may need to be replaced as well. I cant really find any good materials on the upgrade requirements so I thought i would ask here in case anyone has gone through the same process. Are there any additional changes necessary? Jumpers, etc? Also, does the RAM board have any limitations in regard to the firmware? Apparently I have the 64K board so it is not upgradeable - does this matter for the firmware level? Does anyone have one they are parting out that may have the 256K board they would like to part with? Z80 Pod - weak signal strength?

Relatively new owner, and learning my way around the hardware.. Picked up a Z80 pod as part of a larger bundle purchase that was flaky. Eventually got it working, and in the process replaced a few 74C245's on the secondary PCB with 74LS245's. Consistently passing self test now. Initially, when it was somewhat flaky (and before I appear to have blown the '245's by troubleshooting with the pod removed from it's shell - gotta be very careful the two boards don't come apart while moving it around :P Initial issue was the two boards were poorly seated), I had a couple of good game boards where it allowed me to consistently run UUT with no issues. Since then, I'm noticing certain boards will run perfectly with the pod (ie Galaxian), and others (Jr. PacMan, Sega Frogger, Ms. Pac modified to run Crush Roller) just constantly watch-dog. My guess is that I have poor signal strength between the pod and the PCB's, but wanted to see if anybody found this as a common issue, and whether there are any components in the pod that may be worth looking at/replacing to address this? The Ms. Pac board has the small satellite board, and I noticed if I bypass it and go directly to the main PCB socket, the board is a bit more active, which makes me feel I'm on the right track. Jr. Pac doesn't use that however, and refuses to budge. I've verified all the '245's and '374's check out good as per the IC test functions on my EPROM programmer, and again - passes self-test consistently. When on the Galaxian PCB, I could read ROM without issue, pass all RAM tests without issue - seems to work perfectly.
