I seem to recall you had to unplug the mains lead, then slide down a panel, and you could then remove and reinsert a plastic thing to then say '220' or '240' showing on the outside. of course, that doesn't mean all flukes have the same setup Filip Hautekeete wrote:
Steve,
There is no panel nor switch on the back. However there is a note referring to the manual (orientation of the mains circuit board). Unfortunately I was not able to locate any information about this in the service manual. I was hoping someone had done this before and could tell me immediately what actions to perform.
Best regards,
Filip

Yes, there is a panel on the back that allows voltage selection I can t remember how but it was easy.

Hi all,
Is there any easy way to switch the Fluke 9010A from VAC 120 (factory installed) to VAC 240 ?
Best regards,
Filip

Be careful, a lot of times when you change voltage you also should change the fuse. In the case of the 9010A the line fuse should be 1A fast blow for 120 V and 1/2 A fast blow for 240 V. Filip Hautekeete wrote:
Hello Steve,
You are correct. Thanks to John Robertson I figured out there is a slide card for voltage selection behind the fuse panel. No need to drag the systems out of your garage ;-)
Thanks for your help!
Filip

Good point Rodger, I think that was hidden in the yada, yada part of the instructions for changing voltage that I didn't quote... Now to find the PDF of the 9010A manuals. They aren't up on the ftp site: ftp://ftp.flippers.com/TTL/Test%20Equipment/ the backup CD is buried somewhere in my shop... John :-#)# At 3:40 PM -0600 10/31/05, Rodger Boots wrote:
