RE: [Techtoolslist] Kurz Kasch PDFs updated on Flippers
Ideally one would make a universal card - like the VERO boards but with the 0.1" (?) 100 pin connector and the rest of the board full of plated through holes... http://www.verotl.com/prototyping-products Then if folks scan their cards on both sides (or photo) someone can draw up the wiring. As I seem to have the largest single collection I'll be scanning/photographing them this spring with my work experience students. I'll leave it to someone else to do the wiring though, I have way too many projects to finish that are needed to pay bills. I will post the pictures on flippers though as they are done. I have replacement 100 pin wire wrap sockets for the test fixture for sale if anyone needs one. I also recommend that you fuse the transformer secondaries to avoid burning cards or edge connectors if a problem occurs (don't ask). John :-#)# David Shoemaker wrote:

I just noticed that you don't have listed 396A, which is Midway MCR series power supply. I'll check if I have the instructions, but I do have (2) of the cards.

I've updated the PDFs lately and have packed them all into a single PDF if you prefer to download as one file.
Have almost the entire collection now!

I have some kk blank proto cards that could be reproduced fairly easily. In addition to Johns fuse tip, it's worth changing/ testing the caps in the main unit , 3 of my units had bad caps. When I have minute I will check to see if I have any of the missing Documents. Sent from my iPhone On 28 Feb 2012, at 16:13, John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> wrote:

Well I went and dug mine out tonight. Looks like I have a set of basically useless cards for me:
300A-F, 301A, 302C 300ABCDEF Credit Board Rockola
PDF <http://www.flippers.com/pdfs/kk-300-rock-ola-credit.pdf> No 301A Popularity Board Rockola
PDF <http://www.flippers.com/pdfs/kk-301-rock-ola-pop.pdf> No 302C Logic Mech. Bd. Rockola
PDF <http://www.flippers.com/pdfs/kk-302-rock-ola-logic.pdf> No
A 185B 185ABC Gun Fighter Midway
PDF <http://www.flippers.com/pdfs/KK-185A_B_C-GunFighter.pdf> Yes-185AB And a 222C 222AC 280 Zzzap, Laguna Racer Midway
PDF <http://www.flippers.com/pdfs/KK-222A_C_185B-280Zzzap.pdf> Yes-222AC
So two partials and a whole set of Rockola stuff and I don't have a jukebox. Wonder if anyone around here does? J
I also came across a KK Prom Test 1 unit with some socket cards. Anyone have any information on that?
David
The KK Prom Test 1 was a Eprom verifier requiring the use of a Signature Analyzer (KKs or HPs both are fine). I'm adding the sheet for that on the KK page on Flippers now, along with the PP-400 programmer and MOD pages for cards 174 and 215.

More to come as folks send me stuff!

I have most of the KK cards including most/all the 400-series so I should be able to fill in a few holes in the PDF list as well..
I've replaced the caps on the unit I typically use, though I have another unit I found at a dist that had a switcher tastefully hacked on, I suppose that's another way to do it..
David: I use them fairly regularly and I have a couple pics of them up already:

Then if folks scan their cards on both sides (or photo) someone can draw up the wiring.

Oh, and considering that the last six pins on the two Program connectors (A & B) aren't used I've hooked four of them (49a(top) & 49a(bottom), 50a(top) & 50a(bottom)) up to two added internal speakers (old PC tiny ones) to simplify testing. Learned another valuable lesson. Don't look behind the curtain. Hi Guys, I decided to ask a local PCB company to reproduce the blank cards for me, they will be the same style but twice as deep, that way they can be used to make any of the cards. They should be ready in 2 weeks. I will post a paypal page showing the cards once they are ready. Price wise they will be around $20 each....tooling/low volume costs. If there are any cards that you are short on I may have the card and could copy the component list/make a schematic for you. Cards I have are as follows. 101a 102a 103a 111a 115a 116a 121a 123ab 124ab 173abc 180ab 185abc 188b 192a 196ac 200ab 213ab 215a 219ab 222abc 224abc 231abc 234bc 241ac 247ac 252abc 253a 257abc 261ab 265abc 266ac 269a 276ae 279ab 284b 290a 291ad 294ab 295a 299ab 306ab 309a 313abc 322ab 326ab 332ab 333ab 335a 336ab 337a 339a 341a 334ab 345ab 346a 348ab 351a 353a 355a 358a 359a 362a 363a 364abc 365a 366a 368a 369a 370ab 371ab 374a 375ab 377a 378ab 379a 380 381 382a 387a 388a 390a 392a 398a 400a 405a 408a 412a 415a 416a 417a 418a 420a 421a 422a 423a 424a 425a 426a On Fri, Mar 2, 2012 at 2:50 AM, David Shoemaker <davids@oz.net> wrote:
