hi all.. I have a B&K 490, that i got in the UK, but now i've moved to the USA i need to run it on 110v... http://www.andysarcade.net/pix/DSC_2706.JPG The label indicates it may be switcahble internally between the two voltages.. but i opened it up and stuff is not easy to get to.. The schems in my manual only show 117vAC input, not even the 234v stated.. So.. anyone else done this? anyone seen both taps? i dont want to pull it apart further without knowing its actually possible, the frame is quite compacted with stuff. thanks! -- Andrew Welburn http://www.andys-arcade.com _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com http://seven.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist FTP site is: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment Archive site: http://seven.pairlist.net/pipermail/techtoolslist/
Doesn't look good: http://antelopearcade.com/files/BK-Precision%20CRT%20Rejuvenator/B%26K_490_C... but there's a hint that T1 (main transformer) comes in both 117V and 220V versions. Maybe the 220 you have has alternate taps. -DrG On Jul 10, 2014, at 8:01 PM, Andrew Welburn <andy@andysarcade.net> wrote:

The 490B manual has taps on the transformer (close to the chassis) for setting the line voltage - page 3: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment/B&K/ When did you move to this side of the pond?
