I use my 169xx frames with windows 7, much easier to use, the 166x were nice for xwindow control, i use my 166x still with my HP Preprocessors, as i have yet to migrate them over to the new 169xx as it will require some coding. Most of the time I am using a cheep saleae clone usb based analyzer. I only get 16 channels vs the hp's 128 but the simplicity of capture is a benifit.
