9105 has two disk drives and no hard drive. Since it is a 9105A, not a 9105FT I suspect you lack the HDD controller. There are two versions of the HDD controller, The later/second version also provides HPIB/IEEE. This version is standard on the 68030 based 9100FT/9105FT and on the 9100A (68000 based) if it has the HPIB option. The intent was you would have a 9100 (with HDD) which you would develop scripts on, and then you would run these scripts on the 9105 (which lacked the HDD). If you can find an HDD controller, you can add a SCSI2SD ( http://www.codesrc.com/mediawiki/index.php/SCSI2SD) On Mon, Mar 1, 2021 at 4:50 PM Kevin Moore <talon.k@gmail.com> wrote:
So I recently got ahold of a 9105A, I see all the talk about the 9100, can anyone tell me the differences between the two?
It comes with what appears to be a green screen monitor, initial power up shows that the RTC is dead, and it's looking for a Boot disk in Drive A:
Haven't gone into more detail on it yet.
I have a 9010, with pods, and I'm hoping this unit will do more for me.
