It's possible. The ABI keyboard only has three pins as opposed to the AT standard 5, but I guess they could have used the conductors for clock, data and Vcc and used the shield for GND. I'll have a look for an old AT keyboard in the loft and give it a try. I should have a PS/2 to AT converter around somewhere, I will locate it and give it a try.
I mean these were as common as common things, so why re-invent the wheel when you wanted a keyboard to use.
