The card plugs into an expansion slot on the 9100A and you debug the broken 9100A using a 9000a-68000 pod + working 9100 (or I guess 9010). N.B the 9100FT uses a different method (there is a 9132A/Jane sync pod connector on the FT motherboard) and you use a 9132 with a 68030 personality module to debug.
