re: RE: Fluke FIDE update... Good news
On vacation now for the rest of this week, but I'll take a look at it when I get back. This would mean that I'd have to make sure that I can do a Font Install (should not be too hard), and I could only use the font if it was free. It's possible that I could also use the same font that MS uses for their development environment. It might also be possible for me to add color highlighting to numbers... that might be just as helpful if not moreso. JB Original Message:

I did find a True Type font with a slashed Zero: http://www.seagullscientific.com/html/slash_0.htm So if anyone else is having trouble try this font - I shall install it on the shop computer tomorrow and report results...

This is SOOOO much better than RKSIC, really great of James to develop it!
I have one question/suggestion today - the FONT used in a problem, I would like to use a font that shows a 0 as different than a O...I was looking in my Win95 machine's font directory and found a nice one called WST_Engl.fon that has the Zero with a slash.
Handy when trying to troubleshoot scripts - we had a typo in the 9010TEST.S script that was an Oh in place of 0 in the command "DPY-+#-YES//NO?O" that ?0 MUST be a Zero of course, but was not...so if the font had the slash on a Zero that would make life much easier...
We shall be uploading the program once it works correctly, but for now 9010TEST.S is sick.
Unless someone has a suggestion for changing default fonts used in programs in W95/98 - I don't have my old tips book at the office...
