If you have your adapter, I can get a chip to you for the track pack Clay. I was in Portland yesterday. Wish I would had known then. :) I can mail you the chip for the track pack. Otherwise I can use my rom burner to read it, but that may take longer for me to get to.

I might still have the exact adapter. I'll look for it Tuesday and report back here... I can take a few pictures of it. (I might even have a Track Pack boardset and could just read the PROM in here. I don't remember what's our machine in storage. I'll look. If nothing else, if our PCB is the original one just reading and duplicating that would serve as a proof of concept.)
OE&CE can just be disconnected. Looking at the schematics all the outputs are going to be push/pull (no tristate), so nothing 'special' required to brute-force the dump. (Also, two outputs are not even used.)

Yes, it's possible to dump PLD using an Arduino. When they are registered or partially registered/combinatorial there is no way to do except a manually recreation of equations analyzing the device and its connections/behaviour on PCB. Il 17/03/2015 20:21, William Stillwell ha scritto:

It would be nice to get the chip / jed to Fabrizzo to put up on jammarcade pld archive.
He already mentioned he has the hardware to dump them.

I'll forward to Aaron Giles and see if he has the correct stuff to dump these too. I could bring the chip to him.

I can mail you the chip for the track pack.

Do you have a pinout of how you did it Did you go from pin one to pin one Did it matter what address line or data line went to what pin on eprom The 2716 starts at address 7 on pin 1 And data lines are split From side to side What did you do with /oe or /ce Thanks tony

So, Theorically, one could just use the same information and dump the data via an Arduino .
The only issue is being when they are registered or partially registered/combinatorial..
Apparently someone was working on that a few years ago... http://www.edaboard.com/thread220871.html John :-#)#

I use this device to dump protected PLDs (in the project archive there is also the software needed to analyze binary dumps):

What is the hardware needed? Perhaps it can be duplicated on this side of the pond...

Yes, I have the hardware to dump it.The problem I'm located in Italy and there are chances the chip could get lost during shipping.
