Hello All, My fluke 9100ft has developed a PSU fault that causes the mains to my work shop to trip after around 3 minutes when turned on. I have completely disconnected all outputs rails and bypassed the input filter and it does the same. So I have 2 options. 1. Repair the SMPS 2. Buy a replacement SMPS Has anyone had similar problems. Does anyone have a spare SMPS? Cheers Steve _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com http://seven.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist FTP site is: ftp://ftp.flippers.com/TTL/TestEquipment Archive site: http://seven.pairlist.net/pipermail/techtoolslist/
Take an ohmmeter and check any diodes in the supply, looking for a shorted diode(s). Also, check the switching pass transistor (mosfet?).
