Re: Wow! Are the 6809 pods L@@K RARE?
I paid $450 for mine & felt lucky to get it. The only other ones I could find were $550 to 2x that price. The group doesn't seem to be interested in fessing up as to what equipment they have but I think I can name about 4 6809 pod holders. 6502s do seem more common & less pricey for some reason? Kev

I thought the 6502's were rare but this stunned me! $311

I have too many pods....about twenty+ right now. Must clear out some in the fall...many duplicate/triplicates... I wonder what some of mine will go for after I run them through the Fluke pod tester, checks ALL the functions of the pods that I have. Plus it is fairly obvious how to build additional testers for the pods testers I don't have. John :-#)# At 08:45 PM 21/07/2002 -0400, Kev wrote:

Ok, let me help you out John. Since you have too many pods, just _for you_, I'll take one of your extra 6809 pods and start whittleing that pile down! ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> I have too many pods....about twenty+ right now. Oh yeah and my 6809 cost me about $400 and is probably my most used pod, so worth every cent so far! Okay after a few weeks with manuals everywhere & much head scratching I've finally managed to get the beginings of a GFI (actually UFI) script running. I'm even beginning to appreciate the logic behind the program. My current question is.... I've got a RESPONSE file that I've collected, selected & saved frequency responses for. When I use the UFI program, sometimes a frequency will fail to fall within the range of the collected & saved frequencies. (TEST BAD) I know I can query the data base (dbquery) to display what the RESPONSE file has for parameters but is there any way to have the GFI/UFI program display (return) the value that it gathered when testing? I'd like to know if I missed my frequency by 2 hz or 2Khz so I can decide if the tested point is truely bad or if I just need to expand my RESPONSE range. Thanks, Kev
