Re: [Techtoolslist] Unipak 2B adaptor query
?? I really don't know :) TBH i haven't learnt all that much from a technical standpoint about this bit of kit, it really has just been put to use. My unit was bought from Mark Haysman (Leopardcats) and i know he upgraded it to 1MB of memory before i bought it if that helps, but i don't know what the software revision is without looking since i always just boot it straight to remote mode and never really pay much attention to what it says (rather unhelpfully the only room i have for it is UNDER the desk!!). My question is if you have the correct adapter to use these larger EPROMs, don't you also have to have a later revision of the internal OS?

Yes. This file will tell you what version OS you need and adapter too: http://fmbbowen.com:39353/VideoGames/DLH_DVDs/Test%20Equipment/Eprom%20Progr... With later versions of the OS, Data I/O added some form of protection so that it could not be copied. The only way to get a later version of the OS is to pay $300? I know this was discussed last summer/fall in RGVAC. At 11:00 AM 5/31/2005, Electronicamuse@aol.com wrote:

+++++Ask me about Retrocade 30-in-1 MultiPac kits for Midway Pac Man and Ms Pac Man boards and same kit already attached to a new JAMMA PCB. Also we now have purchased the rights to WG6100 (Tempest, etc) new deflection boards and HVU boards. Also HVU boards for Amplifone (Star Wars). These are version 2 with no extra wiring or mods necessary. Ask about Star Wars overlays and new cabinets for Midway cocktail, upright, mini, Dragon's Lair, Williams, Golden Tee Fore, and Ultra-MAME++++ _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com http://seven.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist

I spotted a 9100 manual I hadn't heard of before on eBay and was wondering if anyone else knows of it. Anyone care to PDF it for TTL? I won't have the time until the fall probably. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7522074260 Unless someone else wants it more than I do <grin>... It's in Fullerton CA so I can pick it up and PDF it. It's really close to my house. Then if anyone else wants it they can just pay me. Matt

John, It looks like a loose-leaf binder. If it isn't bound, I can scan it to a PDF on a high speed scanner at work. It would take 5 minutes tops. However, I don't need the manual since I'm still a 9010A guy. If you send it to me I'll scan it for you and send the printed copy back. See... http://arcarc.xmission.com/Test%20Equipment/Fluke/9100%20Fixture/ This should be the same manual as 9100 Systems Training P2 that I scanned the other year. This is actually a 2 volume set that was used for classroom instruction on the 9100. But then again the contents of the notebook may not be what the cover indicates it is so it may be a real find..... Kev mowerman@erols.com John Robertson wrote:
