Anyone with a 9100 should look into archiving their system (etc.) floppies. I found a DOS (PC) based program that is pretty good at reading, storing images on a PC, and writing replacement (archive) 640K floppies. Called TELEDISK. Up on google.com somewhere or email me for a copy... This program does a nice job of reading odd sector sized floppies, plus when you have the image on your PC you can edit it. John :-#)#
Okay, sounds like a good solution and a way to transfer 9100 programs/scripts to those without programmer options. What version of Teledisk should I use? I'll post a image of a TL/1 program or two if someone want to try it. One note. You'll need to boot into DOS, and use a older machine. I had problems, even booting into DOS6.22 on my P4-1.6. Using a P75 worked fine.
Yes, but have you tried it with an odd sector size? Like the Fluke 9100 discs? It certainly doesn't work on my W2K machine for reading the 9100's. John :-#)# At 05:41 PM 12/09/2002 -0500, Mark Shostak wrote:
FWIW, I use it regularly on a PIII 600EB under win98 with no problems.
