If you mean this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1921450958 Then you still need a 9100-003 I/O module. The chip clip and calibration units plug into that, and the -003 plugs into the 9100 base. The cable on the -003 is non detactable. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1920896085 This auction has a -003 pictured. Its on the top pic, on the left.
Ok sounds like I need the whole -003 module. So anyone have a spare I notice there were two in that auction? That second auction got a little rich for my blood :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Corey Stup" <Corey@Stup.net> To: "David Shoemaker" <davids@oz.net>; <TechToolsList@flippers.com> Sent: Sunday, December 08, 2002 8:52 PM Subject: Re: 9100A -003 cable

I should have a couple -003's available sometime in the near future. I have a few spares, but my 9100 was dead and I had been unable to test them. I should have some DIP clips available too.
Great. Let me know when you figure it out, I am trying to get my 9100 setup together. After the 003 I just need to find a 9132 to start playing with. While on the 9100, has anyone figured out the keyboard port or monitor ports on these things? I would like to be able to set it up as a dev station. And one final thing, Kev convinced me to dig it out and find out what software I had on it. Turns out I have ver 6.1. Anyone know how to make a backup of it? And does anyone else want a copy of said backup? Oh, one more :) I don't have a 9100A specific probe, didn't realize there was any such thing until I saw its picture in that auction. Am I going to have trouble using a 9010A probe? Oh, one more :) I don't have a 9100A specific probe, didn't realize there was any such thing until I saw its picture in that auction. Am I going to have trouble using a 9010A probe? Completely different. You can't use a 9010 probe on the 9100. You'll need a 9100 probe.

Oh, uh, that's bad then, I have this sinking feeling that it's going to be hard to come up with one of them.
Shy wants about $450US (yes Four Hundred Fifty) for the probe...seems they are a bit rare...I was thinking of making one in an old logic probe case I have kicking around the shop...I can see someone making a small PCB that uses regular components instead of surface mount and fitting into a small surplus probe case...a kit? I would be definitely interested. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Robertson" <jrr@flippers.com> To: <TechToolsList@flippers.com> Sent: Monday, December 09, 2002 12:27 AM Subject: Re: 9100A -003 cable

Hello, I've recently acquired a Data I/O 288 Gang burner and have found out that I can't use the latest Promlink with it unless I upgrade the firmware to V4.1 or better, the last version was V8.0. Currently it's running v2.0. Anyone have one of these programmers with newer firmware? Thanks, - Mike -
