I found this site that may have the drive you need (Mitsumi) http://www.computertradeexchange.com/inventory/MADGE.html And this site has some information on jumpers for the TEAC http://www.bassontop.com/drivetext.htm I don't have a 9100a, so I may be out on a limb here but, the drives you need are 720k drives. So, getting a 1.44mb drive to work in it I would assume would require some rewrite of the 9100a floppy drive routines. Seems like it may be more work than it's worth. But if you look, maybe you can write some code for it. I have a couple of dead floppies on my 9100's and was wondering if anyone knows how to set up a 1.44 to run on them. The Drive Select has to "0", but then nothing much happens. The latest version of the System setup disc (Rv1.4 - for SCSI) seems to support the Canon HD drive but I have no idea what drive that was supposed to be. The drives supported (Rv1.4) are: Canon (MD350) Sony F17 TEAC FD235 Mitsu(mi?) MF355C Canon HD (unknown model) The service manual says (Pg 3-34) that the floppy control lines are: DS0, DS1 (Drive Selects - D0 for 9100) Spare (not used - is this the High Density enable?) MINI (selects floppy clock speed for 5-1/4 & 3-1/2 or 8") DENS (single or double density - but how does this fit in with a Canon HD drive?) P0, P1 (write pre-compensation time 0, 125ns, 250ns, or 375ns) EN-ENT (Floppy Interrupt) Anyone have info on any of these drives and can identify the parameters needed? Thanks!
