Hi David (and anyone else) The problem is I don't like to let the stuff out of the shop...so if you want to come up some time and play with my 9100 gear in the shop you are most welcome! You can test configurations, play with programming, CF adapters, video adapters. I also have the test stations for many of the pods, so if you want to try troubleshooting your pods (in the shop) you are welcome. Have to convert the service tapes I suspect, or did I do that back in the early '00s??? I don't know if I have any working 9010 tape drives left. The rubber all turned to goo years ago, and then Lawnmowerman (where is he?) or was it ArtFromNY? In any case one of those two guys found nos drive rubber parts and I bought some up (say around 2006), however they too have died. Need to rebuild them with modern neoprene Iguess, but no time! I have various video adapters (sell them) and can give this a try if I get bored which is not at all likely way as I have too many customer commitments this time of the year!
I do wish someone in the 9100 group lived closer to me (Vancouver, Canada) - I'd be happy to sponsor him/her with equipment to play with to help develop stuff.

Commodore/Atari Displays are still the best option.
I do have a nice 22" CGA/WUXGA Monitor, I should see how it looks on it.

There is a bunch of discussion in the 2012q4 archive on the subject of displays.
Curious what people in the US are using? The Commodore/Atari displays are 'retro' now aka $$$.
I have an old 15" VGA LCD and was considering getting one of the $20 eBay HD9800/GBS-8200 converter boards mentioned in the past discussion (plus of course necessary sync inversion&composition)
Anyone doing similar and happy with the end result? _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com https://pairlist7.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist FTP site is: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment Archive site: http://seven.pairlist.net/pipermail/techtoolslist/
