Well, I installed a 65SC02 in my 6502 pod, for a Gottlieb System 3 game I was servicing and figured that I could just leave it in my 6502 pod and then I could test either family without cracking the case open.. Not so! One game (Allied Leisure pinball MPUs) give weird errors when doing some tests with the 65SC02 CPUed pod. This pod had been happy with Gottlieb 6502 MPUs and it took me a little while to suspect the 65SC02 CPU. Replace it with the default 6502 and the ALI MPU was perfectly happy. So, just a word of warning about mucking with substitute CPUs - go back to default if odd things are happening...
