I tried replying attaching a couple pictures, but I did not see it come through. I'm guessing maybe because of the attachments being too large. I posted pics of the chips in question here: https://missilecommand.org/misc/1101_1011_RAM.JPG https://missilecommand.org/misc/1011_1101_RAM.JPG
See attached pics. 1101 were Intel's first RAM. The top ones in the pics I think are National Semiconductor brand. The bottom ones, no clue. I suppose they could be 1101's too and someone made the mistake of putting the 1 in upside down on the stamp (see middle bottom). I'm having a hard time finding anything definitive on 1011 RAM, so maybe that was the case.

Got the photos in my email. Best to call them MM1101 and not just 1101 as it is far easier to search for them then. This Dynamic RAM is covered in the 1972 National MOS Integrated Circuits book. I think you can get that from bitsavers or archive.org, but if not I have a PDF copy that I found somewhere I can send you... This is a MOS device and as such uses +5 and -7 to -9VDC depending on the device. Might be best to check them using a FlukeĀ in circuit... Good luck! John :-#)#

Anyone know of any device or any way to test 1101 RAM and/or 1011 RAM?

What manufacturer and date code? I don't recall that number offhand...
