Opps....ok, back under the rock for me...it was the 8088 in the IBM PC/XT. Dang...did ANYTHING use the 8086?

Actually, LOTS of pc-clone knockoffs used it. And also a lot of generic MS-DOS machines used it to. Anybody else remember those NEC boxes with the 8" drives and really cool color screens? "those were the days" Kurt
