Phil, I've had pods that would pass the self test (when you initiate the buss test), even though they had a bad ribbon cable. Therefore, you couldn't run the board even though the pod passed self test. Have you ever been able to run a UUT with this pod? Sorry if you've already covered this but I've not followed all of the posts. My guess is that the voltage levels are slightly lower on the L-shaped boardsets. The voltage threshold that triggers the the UUT Power fail is probably too high such that even the subtle lower voltage between one boardset and another causes the fail to trigger. (Even though the voltage is high enough to run the board logic) I typically disable this check as well, or tweak my adjustable power supply up a few hundred millivolts. -Adam
Well, all I know is that I get this problem on two boardsets, both of which give the UUT Power Fail error even with that check disabled. Turning up the voltage gets around the UUT Power Fail problem, but then doing a Run UUT just goes garbage onscreen, again on both boardsets.
