The 2 are extremely close. All address and data lines are on the same pins. I believe op codes are the same. Definitely worth looking into.

I haven't done it, but it sure looks easy to find out. Your 6800 pod has to have the jumpers though, and not all of them do.

It might be nice to make it switchable...a 2532 and some extra gates and a toggle switch?

Since the schematics for the 6502 pod show it can be jumpered to go from 6502 to 6800, has anyone ever converted a dedicated 6800 pod to 6502?

I have a unit that I can try on, just wondering if anyone has actually done this already to save me re-inventing the wheel?
