Looking for Kurz Kasch 410A Pole Position card
Just curious if anyone has an extra one in their stash somewhere? I'm in the process of building an actual test harness, but these cards save so much space and time in my little garage bench. ______ All I have is the PDF of the card instructions. Never saw that one! I have the PP adapter for my Atari Orange box - which doesn't help you though.
Perhaps someone here has the card and can provide some photos of it - front and back - so Matt can fake one up using one of those blank cards that were listed here a few years back... One thing I've done in the past is get these 22/44 pin bus extender cards and just re-purpose other Kurz Kasch cards. https://www.corshamtech.com/product/2244-pin-extender/?attribute_pa_build-op... So I could use a Tempest card to drive a pole position board, for example. I could wire up the gas to one of the Pots, but figure it'd be easier to ask the group first. Especially since I may be able to offer some interesting trades. ;) Also, since it's getting cheaper to produce pcb's now, another idea would be to just design one in software. I have the photo and schematics for a Gravitar 409A as an example. I'm a newbie in that department though, I'm trying to learn KiCad but suggestions are welcome. I have a still-sealed new 410A if you want to borrow it to use or copy. I don't know that I'd actually care about keeping it outside of having a fairly complete set of KK cards, but I can't imagine I'd ever use this one as the PAT already covers PP. I was just testing some PP sets on a PAT9000 a couple days ago and even that rig already has a little bit of a tough time powering them. I'm probably going to modify a plug for the external power like they did with later high-current boards like I,Robot, system 1/2, Hard Drivin, etc. - I'd think just rolling your own harness and using a switcher PSU would be less awkward than using a TF-650 for testing PP boards.
