Verified copy of 6.1 now up on TTL
I have just restored the 6.1 System and Program (accessory) disc images using SAMDisk (thanks Andre for the tip!). Under /Fluke/9100A/System_DiscsRV6.1_VerifiedOK SAMDisk did the work - found the problems in the original 6.1 files and fixed them, I then loaded them onto my 9100 and it booted and ran. So I then made SAMDisk images of these floppies. You can use the 6.0 Master-User, and likely the IEE488-V6 discs for the pods as far as I can tell - haven't checked that out. You're welcome John, glad it worked to get the V6.1 images done. I don't completely understand your process though, what was your original source ? Did you do anything with my file ? I don't care, just interested to know if it was any good. Samdisk is great and also works with loads of other format image files, including Teledisk. In my file the V6.1 IEEE-488 disk is included. Did you compare my disks to yours ? Be interested to know if they are any good. Now, CAN ANYBODY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO SHOW A DIRECTORY OF A FLOPPY ON THE MONITOR OF THE 9100 ?????????? Sorry people, Third time I ask now and everyone seems to ignore. If this is a stupid question please tell me so.... I want to help out here, have a look at all my floppies what's on them (all 51) and share whatever is on them....if there is anything interesting. Thanks ! :) Op 28 nov. 2012 om 20:51 heeft John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> het volgende geschreven:

Andre... It's not an easy answer. If you know the name of a UUT on the floppy, then 'edit | /dr1/UUTname' this will put you in the UUT directory on the floppy to see if there is any partslib/proglib/nodelist or programs to browse. I don't know how to get a UUT list of the contents of a floppy. If you want to know whats on a disk you can just copy it to the hard disk and see what UUT's pop up. The fluke directory structure is fixed in the editor system, there is not a directory list function like in other OS's, programs are confined to existing inside UUT 'folders'. associated libraries or programs are inside each UUT 'folder' too. Hi Adre, Right, you had uploaded a set of 6.1 but weren't sure if they were valid (as I recall) so I took my old copy (2002) and passed them through SAMDisk which cleaned them up and got them working fine. The Prog disc of mine is the programmers disc. I wonder if the 6.0 USER discs will be fine for the 6.1. Did you ever send the SAMDisk version images of your 6.1 files? I've misplaced them if so...you are welcome to download and compare my files with yours and report back.

I don't know the answer so didn't reply - that is probably why you aren't hearing back, perhaps no one knows! Apparently the OS9MAX demo CAN read discs on a PC, so you may want to try that... John :-#)#
