Hi Is there a scan of the ict-101 manual on flippers? I looked and couldn't find one. Otherwise, does anyone have a scan they'd be willing to host/email? I PMd a guy in KLOV who posted in 2012 saying he had a manual and was looking for hosting site but never heard back. I actually have the above unit, I picked it up last week when I was back in the UK (from Pete's son; Pete (invadar) unfortunately passed last year). It's confusing that there are two versions, or seems like there are. _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com https://pairlist7.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist FTP site is: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment Archive site: http://seven.pairlist.net/pipermail/techtoolslist/

BACK ON TOPIC ;-) Does anyone have the manual for the ICT-101? P.S I don't actually think the ICT-101 is very useful, there are a few posts in the archives saying it frequently generates incorrect results, more frequently than the BK 560. At least one person ended up selling because of this. It was free to me other than shipping, so it's mostly a curiosity. Also since I have a ABI, most of a Fluke 900 and a BK I was thinking of writing up a comparison page since there is so little technical info on them and their differences.
I second this. I'd love to make more use of my ict-101 but without a manual it's a pain. Dumping the eproms helped as at least I could work out what ttl it actually could recognise by looking at the ascii. No idea really what all the 74ls74 modes are though. (Pins held high or low I guess) I'm missing the 28 or 32 pin lead so can't test ram (How ever that is done). So, a manual would be awesome. :) Chris Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. -------- Original message -------- From: Tony Jones <tony@tonyjones.com> Date: 18/04/17 10:16 AM (GMT+12:00) To: John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com>, Technical Tools Mail List <techtoolslist@flippers.com2> Subject: Re: [Techtoolslist] ict-101 manual On Mon, Apr 17, 2017 at 1:59 PM, John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> wrote:

I have the unit and the manual. I have never powered it on I'm on vacation now and return next Tuesday. I will check into getting it made into a PDF. It is a rather large manual. About 200 pages iirc. Keep looking and if that fails, I will pursue getting it copied unless someone here wants to volunteer to copy mine and return it Pat. Sent from my iPhone

If the manual is loose leaf I have an autofeed scanner/printer (Toshiba eStudio 351c) that can deal with up to 11 X 17 doublesided documents. I can scan that 200 page manual if fifteen minutes, then pass it through Adobe acrobat to make is searchable... John :-#)# Vancouver, BC, Canada On 2017/04/18 7:10 AM, Tony Jones wrote:

If I recall correctly, it is coil bound but I don't mind disassembling it for the benefit of the community. I will leave it up to Tony as to whether I send it to you or him. Perhaps we should wait till I get home and get it in my hands. For some reason I'm thinking there were some folded pages in there. I recently purchased this unit but have been tied up in personal matters and have not had a chance to delve into it. I've learned so much and benefitted from this group in so many ways it is the least I can do Pat Sent from my iPad On Apr 18, 2017, at 11:19 AM, John Robertson <jrr@flippers.com> wrote: If the manual is loose leaf I have an autofeed scanner/printer (Toshiba eStudio 351c) that can deal with up to 11 X 17 doublesided documents. I'll handle scanning yours. I'll pay shipping both ways on it. Please contact me via email for specifics.
Thanks for the generous offer.

I have the unit and the manual. I have never powered it on I'm on vacation now and return next Tuesday. I will check into getting it made into a PDF. It is a rather large manual. About 200 pages iirc. Keep looking and if that fails, I will pursue getting it copied unless someone here wants to volunteer to copy mine and return it

I don't have the faintest idea if this is list appropriate :) I only care that it gets scanned by someone as it sounds like there are a few folks who'd like a copy. I imagine cost to ship into Canada would be higher but if John wants to take it on, I won't object as it's dull work. Pat, thanks much for helping.
