I hacked up a tool that will run 9LC.EXE inside DOSBox, so scripts can be more easily compiled on non-Windows and/or non-x86 platforms. From the host OS, it runs just like 9LC does, warts and all. It’s public domain, and should run on most UNIX type systems. https://github.com/ieure/fcw — Ian _______________________________________________ Techtoolslist mailing list Techtoolslist@flippers.com https://pairlist7.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/techtoolslist FTP site is: ftp://ttl.arcadetech.org/TTL/Test_Equipment Archive site: http://seven.pairlist.net/pipermail/techtoolslist/
I posted a how to / tool to do that on the 64 bit O/S w/FIDE, however, do like the add on of non-windows os, but sadly FIDE doesn't work in non-windows O/S. ( which a lot of people use with their fluke 9010a. ) http://www.coinopflorida.com/fluke/DosBox_9LC_v2.rar William Stillwell Hamster / KI4SWY Stillwell Software Solutions. I’ve been slowly reimplementing Fluke tools in a more portable/UNIXy way. I ported the 8/16-bit Fluke signature algorithm to Python[1], and made an Emacs mode[1] which I use for editing scripts. Emacs is my programming tool of choice, and it’s easy to hook external build/transfer progams into it. I also have a ground-up reimplementation of 9LC I’ve been working on, but haven’t had the time to get it 100% finished.
