The saga of my non-working pod continues.  To recap, it works fine with the 6809 but not a 6809E. In spite of some generous help from the group, I've not been able to find a schematic for my version of the pod.  It is not like the one fluke documented in their last 6809 manual.  Therefore, I've spent many hours making my own schematic.  I took the one that Fluke has and drew the changes over top of it.  I'm fairly confident I documented all of the additional parts that mine has. If anyone is interested you can download a jpg version here:

I'd like to know if anyone thinks this is capable of running a 6809E or if it has a design flaw that would prevent that.  I'd really like to get this thing running on the 6809E so I can fix my Joust and Sinistar.
