Yeah the script is the next thing I'm going to try as soon as I figure out how to manually program this thing. Which is what I got the Rs-232 optioned one for in the first place, to avoid having to type on that keyboard more than I have to.

It's doing a power on reset, after pressing "Aux i/f", then "Read", then
"Enter". It will state Receiving, then reset after about 2 secs. It then
comes back on stating Fluke 9000 restarted, self test ok.

It's not a pod problem, I can use the fluke normally w/o problem. I'm
trying
to hook up the rs232 to a computer to upload scripts. It only resets

after

hitting enter/yes after doing an Aux/if, read. while trying to send a
script

If you have a second 9010 and a Z80 pod then you can use it to test the RS-232 card in your current machine - I seem to recall a script for doing that using a loop-back jumper...buried in the 9010 service manuals.

Hi Kevin,

Can you describe exactly what is being shown on the Fluke display when it
fails?
I'm not sure if you are describing the Fluke doing a Power-On Reset, or
whether it's
just dropping out of RX mode.

cheers
