Right now you have to provide the memory map. However, the goal has always been to use the MAME virtual machine to pre-generate as much of this as possible. I will work on that shortly. It is just a matter of wiring the data together.

 

I probably have a few scripting errors in the generated code. I’ll work through that shortly. Just wanted to release this right now in case there is feedback that I can incorporate.

 

It doesn’t do a lot of input checking yet. And for people that write a lot of scripts, this is very basic stuff. However, it does get one started. I find that I end up typing (or copying) the same initial code over and over again. Hopefully this will save a little bit of time anyways. If I figure out how to access a zip file via a C#/.NET object (I think I have one that I can use), I’ll probably provide an online Fluke signature generator. That may wait for “phase II” though. (It would also be nice to let people “save their work” so that others could reuse the same script.)
