I should have paged down a couple more lines. Back up to tape … looks like to me.
At any rate, I’m still working on a file transfer utility and I’ve run into a big road block. I can only transfer text files. Per documentation, “open” on a file will only open text files.
I’m interested in other ideas. My goal is to make getting all files in a UUT to and from a PC as easy as possible. This is proving to be difficult. Currently you can do this by hand by manually copying the files to the /port. Ideally I’d like an automated method… and I just don’t see a good method. Anyone tackle this problem?

Subject: F9100A: What is the
BACKUP-3.TDO contain?
I don’t have easy access to my DOS based machine that I can use to create a backup disk to load my 9100A. Does anyone know what the disk image BACKUP-3 contains? Browsing it in raw mode, I see a lot of references to copying files and I’m interested in knowing if this allows backups of files (and specifically more than just text files).
I’ve written a windows based utility program along with a 9100A “listen” program that allows upload/download of many files at a time. Problem is that I can only move text files and so I’m looking for any information on how I can programmatically manipulate program files.
